Building Florida Homes for the Florida Lifestyle! |

Step #1: First Meeting
· We will need a detailed survey & pool plan - and to walk your property; · This meeting will detail what DBI offers and to discuss what will happen to your backyard during construction; · Here DBI learns exactly what you want to achieve; · If you do not already have a plan, DBI can work with you to create one - or use one on file; · A small fee may be required for the Architect to proceed to Step #2 .

|
Step #2: Review
· Review the pool plan and make changes if needed; · If agreed (without changes) DBI will ask you to sign a contract, make a nominal deposit for final plan completion; · Move on to Step #3.
Step #3: Final Plan Review
· Final review of final plans that will be submitted to permitting for approval - municipalities vary, but permitting can take from 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes 6 weeks; · Three draws are scheduled during construction in which you are included on draw approvals - payments required; · NOTE: As a home and pool builder, we work on draw schedules (just like new construction) and NEVER ask for 50% up front; and, · Construction begins AFTER plans come out of permitting.
Step #4: Once Construction Begins
· Equipment arrives and a hole is dug in your backyard per plan; · You will be upset about the mess - although construction will be kept to the side and as neat as possible AND as discussed in our meeting at Step #1; · Your pool will be completed in 60-days; · Your yard put back together per contract and you can swim and forget DBI was ever there - EXCEPT for the referral please!
